Doctor Charles J. Cummings is a native of Washington DC. Dr. Cummings moved to St. Louis, MO in June of 1994 with plans to start his new life. After dating his now wife Wand E. Cummings for one-year long distance, Charles and Wanda was married on July 23, 1994 at Christ Temple on The Rock Church. Charles and Wanda collectively have seven children three boys, Demetrius, Darrell, Eric, and four girls Trynai, Sharell, Tarshell, and Amber. They also have nine grandchildren, six girls, and three boy 

Dr. Cummings is the CEO and President of In Place of Another Ministries, the organization provide Christian counseling to blended families, pre-marital, post-marriage, divorce prevention, and family counseling to Christian families. He is a certified blended family counselor through the Stepfamily Foundation New York NY.   He earned his M.Div. in 2005 from Bryson University and latter in 2009 his PhD in Theology from the same University.Dr. Cummings is currently working to complete his second Doctorate, of Christian Psychology in Clinical Counseling from Pillsbury College & Seminary.

Dr. Cummings believes that every family can be a successful, and that every Christian marriage can, and must be successful to accomplish the full mandate that God has for the family. He believes that God prepared, and ordained him  and his wife for this time and this season.
